Groups of people collectively
have a Karma bank account. This is also true
for the Jewish people. For our well-being, we should do
things that add to our collective Karma bank account.
We’ve consulted many Israeli
leaders, and they’ve suggested a plan that can vastly increase our Karma bank
account. We can have fun and enjoy
ourselves at the same time.
The idea is for us to keep
Friday night Shabbat. This means having
meals with family and friends on Friday nights – but cooking beforehand, and turning
off our cell phones and other devices.
The leaders say that the peace and unity that this will generate will make an enormous deposit into our collective Karma bank account. Then, if we need a withdrawal – in times of danger – the large Karma bank account will help protect us. It’s worth a try.
